DAY 1, Parliament Buildings Wellington (Start 10 am Parliament)

Field trip to two catchments near Wellington city to discuss multiple drivers on land and water management:

  • Kaiwharawhara Stream Catchment
  • Urban Sanctuary to Sea project / Mana whenua collaboration 
  • Makara Stream catchment
  • Working with small blocks for environmental outcomes
  • Farming on the fringe - diverse drivers of land management
  • Wind farms, carbon planting, Capital Kiwi, dung beetles
